On Sunday (August 11), Carrie Underwood helped lead the worship service at a local Tennessee church. The eight-time Grammy Award-winning singer joined in with the Rolling Hills Community Church’s worship team in a stirring performance of Bethel Worship’s “The Goodness of God.” The original version of the song, which features Jenn Johnson, reached No. 15 on Billboard‘s Hot Christian Songs chart in 2020. An Instagram video posted by a fan page for Bethel Worship captured the special moment. Underwood has expressed her faith many times in song, including her 2014 Grammy-winning track “Something in the Water,” and her 2021 album of traditional hymns, My Savior, which won the Grammy Award for Best Roots Gospel Album.
