Broomfield sentenced to 30 years in 2015 murder of Army veteran

A Springfield man was sentenced to 30 years in the Department of Corrections Friday for the 2015 murder of Louis Tuttle.Larry Broomfield had been found guilty by a Sangamon County jury of first-degree murder on Sept. 20.That jury acquitted Broomfield of a second count of felony first-degree murder and a count of armed robbery.
