The NBA Will Let Players Have Sex in the Bubble . . . But Tinder Randoms Aren’t Allowed

NBA players have been in the “bubble” in Orlando for about a month, which means they’re really missing their children, their significant others, and . . . well . . . they’re probably dealing with a sky-rocketing libido.

And the NBA is doing something about it.

Later this month, they’ll start allowing players to bring guests into the bubble . . . but there are strict rules.  And they’re clearly trying to block players from inviting Tinder randoms, or hotties they met on Instagram.

The rules are:  Non-family members must have “longstanding relationships,” and those without “an established pre-existing, personal, and known relationship” won’t be allowed in.

So, that’s a NO for, quote, “any individual the player has not previously met in person or with whom the player has had limited in-person interactions, [like ones] known by the player only through social media or an intermediary.”

Guests will be required to quarantine for seven days . . . then take a charter flight to Orlando . . . and then quarantine for four more days on the Disney campus.

Players will be allowed to have up to FOUR guests . . . and children don’t count as long as they’re under 32 inches.  (???)  (Are they measuring the kids with a yard stick upon entry into the bubble?)

And for everyone’s safety, they’ll be required to keep their hands, arms, and legs inside the bubble at all times.  Seriously.  Once you’re in, you’re in . . . you can’t slip out to hit up Disney World or a McDonald’s.

Guests will be allowed in beginning on August 31st, just in time for the second round of the playoffs.

People have been joking about the “longstanding relationships” thing on Twitter, saying things like:  “Longstanding personal friends?  We’ve been DMing all summer!”

And another joked:  “What if the player never knew his birth mother, but just found her, and wants her in the bubble so he can FINALLY get to know her, and ask why she put him up for adoption in the first place?”
