New Mexico Man Arrested for Drug Possession in Morgan County

A New Mexico man was arrested Thursday after Morgan County sheriff’s deputies reported finding 30 kilograms of powder cocaine during a traffic stop on Interstate 72 east of Jacksonville. Deputies arrested 42-year-old Jose Cleofas Cereceres. The sheriff’s office said the cocaine had an estimated street value of three million dollars.
