The Illinois Emergency Management Agency reports a team from Illinois traveled early today to Texas to assist with operations after deadly flooding this week. The 39 firefighters from departments across Illinois are part of the Mutual Aid Box Alarm System and will be on the ground in Texas for up to 14 days.
