Money can’t buy love . . . but what if LOVE could buy money? And I’m not talking about marrying INTO money . . . I’m talking about money to get OUT OF a marriage.
A new poll asked people, “Would you leave your partner for $1 million?” And surprisingly, 43% of Americans said they WOULD.
Maybe those 43% of couples were growing apart anyway . . . or maybe our VALUES need recalibration. Because:
In the same poll, 40% of Americans said they’d accept $33 million . . . even if it meant financially ruining someone else. And another 46% said they’d consider it, depending on WHO gets destroyed in the process.
46% would enter a real-life version of “Squid Game” for a shot at $33 million, despite the game’s 99.8% death rate.
48% would embarrass themselves on live TV for $1 million. But 13% would do it for just $5,000 or less . . . and 4% would do it for $500.
41% would give up sex entirely for $1 million.
59% would give up technology and live off the grid for $1 million.
And 15% would frame a friend for a crime they didn’t commit for $1 million.
21% would PASS on $1 million, if it meant they’d lose access to social media.
54% would reject a million dollars if their parents controlled the money . . . and 38% would pause the deal, if accepting it meant their ENEMY would also profit. (Study Finds)
