The family of Sonya Massey is advocating for cameras to be present in the court case of Sean Grayson. The family as well as others believe that having cameras present will ensure justice is served.
This request for cameras marks the Massey family’s first step towards ensuring transparency throughout the process of the trial. The defense team for Sean Grayson has yet to comment on the issue of cameras in the courtroom.
Grayson’s next court appearance is scheduled for September 12 with the trial scheduled to begin October 20th in Peoria County.
