At 2:20a Tuesday morning Springfield Police heard gunfire and observed a vehicle speeding away from the scene near Pope and Spruce streets.
Responding officers were able to apprehend the driver who was a juvenile and then with help of detectives were able to arrest two juveniles in connection with the gunfire.
Officers also found a victim on Honeysuckle Street who had sustained non-life-threatening injuries from a projectile.
