A Springfield man has been arrested in connection with thefts of several off-road vehicles, trailers and lawn equipment in Pike County between April and July.
The Pike County Sheriff’s Department arrested 47-year-old Richard Wilson last Monday on a Pike County warrant and on a possession of a stolen motor vehicle warrant out of Morgan County, Missouri.
Police later searched a residence in the 1700 block of East Miller Street in Springfield and reportedly recovered several electronic devices and other items allegedly connected to the thefts.
Police say they are continuing to search for stolen property in the case, some of which may have been sold or traded.
