A Springfield woman has been arrested for an alleged assault and theft in Iles Park.
The incident took place on August 18th when a woman claimed she was approached by Darria U. Goudy outside a public parking lot. According to the report Goudy then grabbed the victim’s purse, pulled her hair, and punched her multiple times.
Officers later found Goudy exiting a black SUV and recovered the purse. Goudy also has an active warrant in Sangamon County for failure to appear on a driving while license suspended charge.
