A two-vehicle crash on I-72 East of Springfield on Wednesday resulted in 3 people being transported to a local hospital with injuries.
Authorities say the crash happened near milepost 114 at around 6:39p when a passenger car and an SUV collided.
The crash itself remains under investigation.
