A fire late Thursday night in Springfield left a family of four displaced and two firefighters sustaining minor injuries.
The Springfield Fire Department responded to a call of a house fire at 11:20p Thursday night in the 400 block of Adelia Street. When they arrived, they found heavy flames engulfing the house.
The blaze caused extensive damage to both the exterior and interior of the residence
