It’s the last weekend before Halloween, and there are so many fun and frightful things to do.  Have fun!

LLCC Haunted Lab – Spooky Science Fun for Children
Friday 5pm – 8:30pm.  Free for all ages and shows begin every 30 minutes.  Costumes are welcome, and there will be interactve stations with hands-on activities.

Friday 1pm – 8pm and Saturday 11am – 6pm at Henson Robinson Zoo.  All ages welcome and $5 admission.

Monster Mash Halloween Dance
Friday 7pm – 9pm at Erin’s Pavilion in Southwind Park.  Free admission and all ages welcome.

Saturday 9am – 6pm at Kidzeum of Health and Science..  $12 for ages 2 and up.
A day of science, costumes and hands-on fun for the whole family.  Families can explore three floors of themed fun – from sensory surprises to glow-in-the-dark crafts – all designed to spark curiosity and creativity.

Saturday 11am – 4pm at the Route 66 Hotel & Conference Center.  All ages.  Free treat bags for the first 100 kids.  Costumes encouraged.

Illlinois Governor’s Mansion Candy Giveaway
Saturday 1pm – 3pm at the Illinois Governor’s Mansion.  All ages welcome, free for all.  Join the Governor and First Lady in costume to greet and give children a bag of candy.  Plus kids can explore a Springfield Fire Department engine, crafts from the Illinois State Museum and trunk-or-treat with Central Baptist Church.  The annual pumpkin display will also be there.

Abe’s Haunted Hollow
Saturday 4:30pm – 7pm at the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum.  All ages are welcome, and it’s free.  Play games, win prizes, take photos at the selfie stations, walk through a giant pumpkin and more.  Come in costume!  The first 500 children receive a gift bag with a lighted Halloween wand.
