The Menard County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a burglary and theft north of Greenview and the removal of a nearby Flock Safety camera over the past weekend.
Investigators said the camera was possibly cut down Friday night at Route 29 and Middletown Avenue and Montgomery Avenue.
Police said another camera was cut down along Route 29 in Mason County.
Investigators said burglars cut padlocks from storage containers at the Greenview location after 6:30 Sunday morning and stole property.
