Salenzio Anderson, the man who is accused of running a dogfighting ring in Sangamon County has now been ordered by a judge to pay a fine of $8800.
Prosecutors said the money will be used to cover housing and care for the animals confiscated from Anderson’s home. They said the fees will cover the cost of the animals from the day they were rescued in January through the end of February.
Anderson who is currently behind bars after being charged with six counts, including animal cruelty charges will have 5 days business days to pay the fine. Anderson is due back in court on April 29th
