A 61-year-old man died after the motorcycle he was driving collided with a vehicle at about noon Wednesday at Peoria Road and Sangamon Avenue in Springfield.
Sangamon County Coroner Jim Allmon said the man was pronounced dead shortly after arrival at HSHS St. John’s Hospital.
His name has not yet been released.
The coroner’s office and Springfield Police are investigating.
