45-year old Alan Whitcomb of Decatur has been arrested after authorities found over 300 counts of child pornography on his phone.
On February 5, Decatur police searched Whitcomb’s home. Police said officers seized several electronic devices from the home, including Whitcomb’s phone.
He was arrested on February 13 on several child pornography charges.
Court records show that Whitcomb was denied pretrial release.
His preliminary hearing is set for March 4.
