Seven individuals were displaced Sunday due to a fire at a residence at 6th and Bergen Streets.
Springfield Firefighters were dispatched at 2 p.m. and arrived to find a house with heavy fire on the rear exterior, with some fire spreading inside of the building.
Firefighters were able to put out the fire but the damage was vast.
Springfield Fire then responded Monday morning to a garage fire in the area of Allen and Spring Streets.
Firefighters responded at 9a and had the fire out by 10a. No injuries were reported in either fire.
