Springfield firefighters responded to a small fire in a utility closet on the seventh floor of an office building in the 300 block of W. Washington St. after 11 a.m. Wednesday.
Fire crews were called after a haze was detected throughout the floor.
No injuries are reported.
Traffic in that block was detoured for about an hour.
