Decatur Police are reopening an investigation into allegations involving a school district employee and a teenager.
Authorities say a school resource officer in late March received information indicating a 21-year-old female employee of the Decatur Public School District and a 16-year-old male were involved in a sexual relationship, however the 16-year-old is not a student in the district.
This relationship dates back to an October 2025 investigation that involved the same individuals. The women was not employed by the Decatur School District at that time.
