The 58-year-old Springfield man who died in a motorcycle crash on Monday has been identified as Charles Laughlin.
According to Sangamon County Deputy Coroner Zach Thomas, Laughlin died from multiple blunt force injuries sustained in the crash.
The death remains under investigation by the Springfield Police Department and Sangamon County Coroner.
