Today is the 11th day of the strike by faculty at University of Illinois Springfield.
Union members say the proposed pay increase does not keep up with the cost of living, while the university says financial constraints are limiting what can be offered.
The university says no proposals were exchanged during the most recent joint bargaining session on Sunday, and it is waiting for a response from the union on its latest offer from Saturday.
The next bargaining session is planned for today.
