Blowing dust limited visibility on local rural roads on Sunday afternoon with at least two crashes reported.
Collisions occurred east of Rochester and near Auburn on Illinois Route 104.
The National Weather Service at Lincoln has issued a blowing dust advisory from 11 am to 6 pm today.
Illinois State Police Troop 6 and the National Weather Service say when encountering low visibility due to blowing dust, pull off the road as far as possible, set the emergency brake, turn lights all the way off and take your foot off the brake pedal.
