Five people have been displaced from their home after a car ran into it on Saturday night.
The Springfield Fire Department responded to a call around 10PM on Saturday night of a car hitting a home near Stevenson Drive and Sheridan Street.
The car started a fire that eventually spread to the attic of the home. The fire department was able to put out the fire but not before the home suffered significant damage.
Fortunately, no one was inside the home at the time of the incident.
The two individuals inside the car did not suffer any injuries. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
