At a preseason press conference on Thursday, Chicago Bears President and CEO Kevin Warren when asked about the Bears new stadium project stated “Our sole focus at this point in time is working on a world-class development in Northwest Indiana.”
The Bears Board of Directors voted on June 5th to move forward on a Stadium Project in Hammond Indiana.
Warren did say however that the Bears will be taking their time to make sure they get the new Stadium right.
The Bears still own land in Arlington Heights and when asked about that Bears Chairman George McCaskey said that would take care of itself.
McCaskey also added that no matter where the Bears new stadium ends up they will still be the Chicago Bears.
