In 1995, there were around 500 craft breweries in the U.S. Now, 25 years later, there are around 6,400. And they’ve opened up EVERYWHERE.

A new study looked into which states have had the most and least breweries spring up during this rush over the past few decades.

The 10 states with the most craft breweries per capita are: Vermont . . . Maine . . . Montana . . . Colorado . . . Oregon . . . Wyoming . . . New Hampshire . . . Alaska . . . Washington . . . and New Mexico.

And the 10 states with the fewest craft breweries per capita are: Mississippi . . . Louisiana . . . Alabama . . . Georgia . . . Texas . . . Utah . . . Oklahoma . . . Arkansas . . . New Jersey . . . and Nevada.
