First Street at North Grand closed for sewer manhole work

Springfield’s Office of Public Works announced that the eastbound curb lane on North Grand Avenue East at the intersection of First Street will be closed for work on a sewer manhole Thursday.First Street will also be closed entirely at this intersection.The work is expected to last the entire day.Also on Thursday, Washington Street between Second and Fifth streets will be reduced to one lane beginning at noon.The south curb lane will remain […]
