The funeral and burial for Reba McEntire's mother has been postponed indefinitely due to concerns over coronavirus. Jacqueline McEntire died on Saturday (March 14) at the age of 93. Reba updated fans on Instagram yesterday (Monday, March 16th) writing in part, “We will continue to monitor the situation and let you know as soon as possible about future plans to celebrate her life when it is safe for everyone to attend. Thank you for all the calls, cards, thoughts and prayers for our family at this difficult time.”
Yesterday also marked the 29th anniversary of the plane crash that killed eight members of Reba's band. She commemorated the date by sharing a picture of them on social media and writing, “The timing of Mama’s passing with that anniversary seems appropriate. I know they’re all in Heaven together and taking care of each other. Let’s keep finding ways to take care of each other down here on earth and never take one moment with our loved ones for granted.”
