Get to know John & Leah
John’s a radio veteran, with over 30 years in the business, and a strong appreciation for ‘real’ country music.
John is a lifelong resident of central Illinois with stops in Springfield, Dawson and currently New Berlin. He is also a lifelong resident of Neuhoff Media Springfield, starting in 1979 on WCVS and moving across the hall to 104.5 WFMB in 1984. John loves collecting feral cats and Mrs. Sue (not a feral cat).
Leah is no stranger to radio. She started in radio at the age of 14. She previously worked at WFMB-AM/FM from 2003-2008 as Agri-Business Director and is happy to be back! She loves LIVE music and her favorite artists are Eric Church, KU, Cody Jinks and Ryan Bingham.
Leah is born and raised in Central IL. She first met JS in junior high school, while working in the 4-H Food Stand. Proud mom to Drexel who just graduate from high school.
When not at the station, Leah is serving brews at Anvil & Forge, corndogs, turkey legs and lemon shake ups in the Country Fryer or at home with insignificant other Joe, the kids, and the doggos…all of the doggos.
