A COVID-19 outbreak led to 15 people testing positive for the virus after a birthday thrown… for a cat. It happened in Chile where 10 people along with 5 friends and family of the cat’s owner attended a party.

Chilean authorities were shocked to learn of the ‘super spreader event’ and thought it was a joke at first. Sadly it was not a joke despite constant warnings and restrictions from authorities about gatherings.

While interviewing those who attended they party, authorities thought they had something to hide and made up the feline party. After corroborating at least 6 of the 15 infected people they confirmed the cat’s party. The festive kitty itself did not contract the virus.
