A Lubbock, Texas man robbed a bank to buy the car of his dreams.
On Jun 7, 2019 50-year-old Eric Dion Warren went to a BMW dealership to take out a loaner car. He took that car to a bank and robbed it.
After getting the money Warren returned to the dealership and gave them a $3,000 cash down payment on the car he just used to rob the bank.
The dealership was informed by police of the robbery and they realized their car matched the one loaned to Warren. Police arrived, check the money’s serial numbers to those stolen in the robbery, and arrested Warren.
Last week he was sentenced to 20 years for the crime.
