If you’re using your aunt, cousin, or dad’s password to watch Netflix… you’ll have to actually pony up for your own soon.
Netflix is cracking down on password-sharing. If you’re using someone else’s account, you’ll be asked to confirm that you live in the same home as the account owner before you can watch.
There will be a verify the account text or email sent to the account owner. Of course they can help you out, but it’s just another step.
We’re sure Netflix is working on other ways to prevent multiple people using a single account.
