New pandemic shortage: Ketchup packets

First it was hand sanitizer, followed by paper and toilet paper. Next up for pandemic shortage: Ketchup… packets.

Thanks to the uptick in takeout orders, restaurants are running out of the single-use ketchup packets. The ketchup companies are having troubles keeping up with the demand. Heinz says they’ve increased their production to 12 billion packets this year but that might not be enough!

So if you’re having delivery to your home, just use that ketchup bottle in the fridge instead of asking for packets.
