In a survey of 1,200 Americans, Hawaii was named the best stated in the US. Washington DC was included in the poll and came in last. If you removed them, Alabama would be last as they came in 50th.
The states were ranked by head-to-head matchups and how often they won. Hawaii won 69% of it’s matchups, followed by Colorado (65%), Virginia (64%), Nevada (61%), North Carolina (61%), and Florida (61%).
Illinois ranked 39th winning 44% of its head-to-head matchups.
