Online ordering and casually perusing the aisles at a store, impulse purchases are too easy to make. The average American makes 12 of them a year according to a new survey.
Those purchases average out to $276 a month, up from the average of $183 a month last year. The average person in the survey said they felt happy after an impulse purchase.

- Clothing (40%)
- Coffee (33%) [Probably one while shopping]
