Easily one of the scariest moments you could ever see at a carnival — A ride starting to tip over with people on it! Thankfully some heroes raced over, grabbed on to the base, and helped to stabilize so that the riders could get to safety.
It happened in Michigan on the Magic Carpet ride. According to the company that runs the ride, Arnold Amusements, it takes riders 50 feet in the air. Well, the platform of the ride came loose from its anchors while riders were on board and it began to sway back and forth, almost tipping over.
Some of the crowd rushed over balance out the weight until the ride came to a stop and those onboard could get off safely.
