The Smile, the new group created by Radiohead members Thom Yorke and Jonny Greenwood and Sons Of Kemet‘s Tom Skinner, have released their debut single called “You Will Never Work In Television Again.” The Smile played the song during their secret show last year as part of Glastonbury event Live At Worthy Farm.
The band have also announced plans to play three consecutive live shows at Magazine London on January 29th and 30th. Those shows will also be livestreamed, and tickets to all events go on sale on Friday (January 7th).
The Smile shared the news on Instagram yesterday (Wednesday, January 5th) writing in part, “We are also excited to announce a launch concert in London – actually 3 different concerts in 15 hours across 29th & 30th January, streamed fully live across 3 time zones, so people outside the UK can see us play at sensible times. 3 shows, 3 time zones, and 3 very sleepy musicians on Sunday morning. . .”
