JERMAINE DUPRI OPENS UP ABOUT HIS RELATIONSHIP WITH JANET JACKSON: During a recent radio interview, Jermaine Dupri opened up about dating Janet Jackson and he recalled a time when Janet showed up to his house unannounced. Dupri said that you can't play games with rich women. He explained, “You can’t really play with rich women. They can do whatever they want to do… You hang up on the phone with a rich woman, and call her all kinds of names and she calls you all kinds of names. You think you hung up the phone and then the doorbell rings. You’re like “What? What’s going on?” and that person be at your house.” She continued, “They got a G4! You can’t play with the rich women, man. You can’t do that… You can’t play with a poor woman, but you can’t play with a rich woman. Not them games.”
KELLY PRICE SPEAKS ON R. KELLY'S SEXUAL MISCONDUCT: During an interview with VLAD TV, Kelly Price opened up about R. Kelly's sexual misconduct. Kelly said she was never aware of misconduct when she worked with him, saying, “He never brought anything around me. People don’t believe it but he never, ever brought anything around me. He never acted weird. He never tried to make a pass. We, very much so, had a brother-sister relationship.” She continued, “I went to Chicago, went to Kelly’s house, played with kids, cooked for the kids … That really was who I was to that family,” she explained. “So I was not exposed to a lot of the other shenanigans. And I think that there was a part of him that understood that if I did see any sex crimes, I wouldn’t be like somebody else and turn my head the other way.” She later added, “I think where there’s smoke, there’s fire.”
ARI LENNOX IS DONE DOING INTERVIEWS AFTER BEING ASKED ABOUT HER SEX LIFE: Ari Lennox is done doing interviews after she was asked about her sex life. Mac G of ‘Podcast and Chill,’ asked Ari if “someone was f**king her good right now.” Ari was visibly caught off guard by the comment and though she tried her best to recover while answering the question, she definitely was not pleased. Afterwards, she took to social media and said, “I’m just like… why was I alone on a call full of people? Why didn’t anyone intervene? And why wasn’t parts of the interview destroyed like the team promised? Why did it happen to begin with? I just feel slow and ambushed and blindsided.” She continued, “But f**k it! I don’t want anyone feeling sorry for me. I’m tired of the narrative. Exhausted. I’m good I promise. But as for interviews I’m not doing them anymore. There’s enough lives and interviews out there already.” She added, “Just because I happily and freely sing/write about sex don’t make any kind of creepy disrespect warranted. I clearly was in immense shock and hate that I didn’t react differently. Honestly it’s all my karma. I’ve been my most happiest creating music and exploring life sober. I’m not allowing anything to tamper with my peace anymore.” She later wrote, “I want to be dropped from the labels. I’m done and tired.”
RAY J ASKS FANS TO SEND THE 'FREAKIEST' PICTURES TO HIM: Ray J wants his female fans to send him the freakiest pictures of themselves and he will fly out a lucky winner for a “platonic” meet and greet. He wrote via social media, “I’ma keep looking. I need all the freakiest pics coming to my page. I’m doing a freaky Friday, Saturday, Sunday pic. I’m flying somebody out to hang out and talk. It’s a very platonic situation but the pictures gotta be the opposite of platonic to get to the platonic.” Although fans were seemingly confused, thinking that Princess and Ray J were getting back together, Princess cleared things up, saying, “We have successfully found a way to co-parent our two beautiful babies with no issues. I will always love and respect him as a father but we have both moved on with our personal lives. It’s all love over here, but stop tagging me in his posts lol.”
