Someone Selling an Old BlackBerry Labeled It “Vintage” and “Circa 1980s”

Two questions here:  What counts as “vintage” in 2022?  And do young people realize there was a time when we DIDN’T have all this technology?

Someone on Twitter posted a photo of a used BlackBerry they found for $15.  And whoever was selling it labelled it “vintage” . . . with a note that said, “Circa 1980s?”  (???)  (It looks like it’s actually a BlackBerry Bold 9000, which came out in 2008.)

People online immediately started posting photos of other stuff . . . like an old Nokia phone that, quote, “got [them] through two World Wars.”  And someone else posted a shot of a 1989 Chrysler claiming it was Mozart’s old car.

(Here’s the BlackBerry photo.  In general, anything over 20 years old can be called “vintage.”)
