Paul Stanley had some choice words regarding the state of American news outlets. The “Starman” appeared on Richard Marx's online “Social Distancing” talk show, and spoke candidly about the palpable division between Americans in this day and age: “I have to say, at the root of it, this divisiveness in the country, I really believe — unfortunately — the 24-hour news cycle has a lot to do with it. When I was growing up, we had, basically, the 11 o'clock news, the six o'clock news, and you didn't know what Walter Cronkite (of CBS) thought — you didn't know who he voted for. When (Chet) Huntley – (David) Brinkley were on (NBC), you didn't know what their views were. What we have now is kind of 24-hour 'game show' news, and you have two major, divided networks, that basically are pushing the agenda of the party they're closest to.”
