I know this is supposed to be for a teacher, but I think we should also be recognizing all the directors who help lead and guide the teachers.
Melissa Roselle is the Director at St. John's Lutheran Preschool here in Springfield, Illinois. For years, Melissa has excelled at her job and it is very clear that her employees, her community, the students, and their families adore her. She leads with heart, class, fairness, and love.
These past two years have been incredibly hard on everyone who is in the education field. As a director, you have to be the one to make the hard calls on when to close down, when to quarantine a class, and everything in between. Melissa had to make some really tough calls and she has handled it with such grace!
All teachers and directors should be "Teacher of the Month" but Melissa is mine :)
