Central Counties Health Centers Community Blood Drive

Central Counties Health Centers will host their Quarterly Community Blood Drive from 8:00 am to 5:30 pm on Wednesday, May 14 at ImpactLife Donor Center 1999 Wabash Ave (The Wabash Building). Can’t make it this day? Donate anytime at our Donor center & credit Central Counties on the sign in sheet. To donate, please contact ImpactLife Springfield at (800) 747-5401 or visit www.bloodcenter.org. If registering online choose the date 5/14 and then choose an appt time between 8-5:30. Appointments are NOT required at our Donor Center. Potential donors must be at least 17 years of age (16 with parental permission form available through www.bloodcenter.org) and weigh more than 110 pounds. A photo I.D. is required to donate. Blood donation is a safe, simple procedure that takes about 45 minutes to one hour. Individuals with diabetes or controlled high blood pressure may be accepted as eligible donors. ImpactLife is the provider of blood and blood components to more than 100 hospitals in Illinois, Iowa, Missouri and Wisconsin. In your area, ImpactLife is the exclusive provider to Memorial Medical Center, HSHS St. John's Hospital. All successful donors will be eligible to get their choice of a $20 egift card, charitable donation to your favorite nonprofit, or bonus points to use in the donor rewards store. There will also be free Central Counties pens & post its while quantities last.
