Springfield Supportive Living Community Blood Drive

Springfield Supportive Living will host a Community Blood Drive from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm on Thursday, July 3rd at ImpactLife Donor Center 1999 Wabash Ave (The Wabash Building). Can’t make it this day? Stop by our Donor Center anytime & credit Springfield Supportive Living on the sign in sheets! To donate, please contact ImpactLife Springfield at (800) 747-5401 or visit www.bloodcenter.org/springfield. If registering online choose the date 7/3 and then choose an appt time between 7-5:30-Appts are NOT required. Potential donors must be at least 17 years of age (16 with parental permission form available through www.bloodcenter.org) and weigh more than 110 pounds. A photo I.D. is required to donate. Blood donation is a safe, simple procedure that takes about 45 minutes to one hour. Individuals with diabetes or controlled high blood pressure may be accepted as eligible donors.  ImpactLife is the provider of blood and blood components to more than 100 hospitals in Illinois, Iowa, Missouri and Wisconsin. In your area, ImpactLife is the exclusive provider to Memorial Medical Center, HSHS St. John's Hospital.
