When I was a kid, I LOVED to go trick-or-treating on Halloween. It was the one time a year you actually got to take candy from strangers (haha). I have to confess, we went until I was 15 with a group of friends before we finally got to hand out the candy. It was just lots of fun for us. I lived out in the country so we went to the same neighborhood for years. The houses we went to loved it. So to me it seems a little outrageous that at 12 you could serve up to 6 MONTHS in Jail just for getting candy from neighbors. Check out the full story
