The Osbournes Are as Close as Ever to Coming Back to TV
“The Osbournes” only ran for four seasons, and it went off the air in 2005. But it was such a phenomenon that people have been trying to bring it back ever since. And it might finally be happening.
KELLY OSBOURNE says the family gets new offers multiple times a year, but there’s one on the table right now that they’re taking seriously. Quote, “I think this is the closest we’ve ever come to accepting one.”
But she adds that there are other things to think about now . . . quote, “My brother’s got three kids. Do we want that life for them without them being old enough to choose if they want to do it or not like my brother and I were?”
Last year, SHARON revealed why nobody has been able to lure them back yet . . . quote, “They can’t afford us. It’s like why would we want to do it for [effing] peanuts? [MTV paid us] really well, and we owned it.”
