  • Linkin Park has announced what is likely to be the first of the Hybrid Theory 20th anniversary activities it has planned for this year. On Tuesday (March 24th), the band members will react via a livestream to previously unseen live footage from a 2001 concert. That event will take place on YouTube starting at 2:00 p.m. ET. Earlier this month the band said it had some “special things planned” this year to celebrate its debut album turning 20. (The PRP)

  • Death Cab For Cutie‘s Ben Gibbard has continued his daily live sets from his home while self-isolating, debuting a new song called “Life In Quarantine” last week and delivering an all-covers set on Sunday (March 22nd). His list of songs included tracks John Lennon, Rilo Kiley, Big Star, Elliott Smith, Phoebe Bridgers, Bob Dylan, The Shins, Def Leppard and the Flaming Lips. The performance on Sunday benefited the Country Doctor Community Health Centers. (Stereogum)

  • Some of the earliest recordings ever made by Fall Out Boy have surfaced online. Three songs from the band's self-titled 2001 demo have been copied from a cassette and landed on YouTube. Two of the tracks ended up appearing on the band's 2003 EP Fall Out Boy’s Evening Out with Your Girlfriend, which preceded its debut album, Take This To Your Grave. (Alternative Press)
