Offset took to social media to deny rumors that he is cheating on Cardi B. The rumors surfaced after he did a livestream of himself playing a video game in his room. At one point, Cardi enters the room and he quickly reaches for his phone and tries to put it in his pocket. When he is unable to do so, he puts it under him. He and Cardi exchanges “I love yous” and then she leaves the room. After she leave, he brings his phone back out.
After getting dragged online, Offset responded in a video, saying, “I know y’all making something out of nothin’ out of that stream when I was playing the game and my girl came in the room and I grabbed the phone or whatever the hell y’all sayin’ I did.”
He continued, “Come on with that. We got so much negativity energy out here in the air, sickness. Don’t bring none of that negativity to my family, man. We chillin’, man. We ain’t in y’all way. Everything positive. We got investments and big moves coming. Y’all just making something out of nothin’. That ain’t ’bout nothin’. I don’t be doing no negative nothin’. It ain’t about nothin’. Folks dying everyday.”
In late 2018, Cardi announced that she was splitting with Offset after finding out that he was unfaithful. They reunited in 2019.

In other news, Cardi B took to Twitter to reveal that she'd like to start a GoFundMe to free Joe Exotic, the incarcerated star of Netflix's docu-series Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem and Madness. She tweeted, They did Joe so dirty over and over again. Bout to start a gofundme account for Joe. He shall be free.”
