COVID-19 Briefs: Christian County Fair in Taylorville canceled

The 96th edition of the Christian County Agricultural Fair in Taylorville has been canceled for 2020 because of the COVID-19 pandemic.The Board of Directors voted to cancel the fair at its June 2 meeting.”As fair board members, this was not a simple or ideal decision,” read a post on Facebook. “We look forward to being able to put on our county fair in 2021 for the community to be able to fully enjoy.”The fair was scheduled for July 21-25.
