The City of Springfield wants residents to be aware of extended severe weather siren testing scheduled for Tuesday May 5th between 10AM and 11AM.
This test will last longer than the usual tests. During this test, residents will hear sirens sounding for an extended time period or in repeated cycles.
Officials want to remind everyone that this is just a test and that no action is required from the public.
