Drake took to social media to comment on Thomas Lane's lawyer saying that civilians should have stopped former officer Derek Chauvin from murdering George Floyd. Lane — who was only on the job for four days, was holding down Floyd's legs as he died. Attorney Earl Gray appeared on Chris Cuomo's CNN show on Monday night (June 8th).
Gray argued that Lane didn't have a good view of what was going on because he was holding down Floyd's legs, with another officer in between him and Derek Chauvin — who was his senior training officer.
Grey also argued that Lane asked Chauvin twice if they should roll Floyd onto his side after complaints that he couldn't breathe. He also added, “All these people say, why didn’t my client intercede, well If the public is there, and they’re so in an uproar about this, they didn’t intercede either, and my client is down were he can’t really see…..”
Drake posted a photo watching CNN, along with the caption, “Thomas Lane lawyer struggling through and ATTEMPT to justify this situation live on television . . . can’t even decide how to defend his client this sh*t is foul to watch.
Lane has been charged with aiding and abetting second degree murder. The other three former officers J. Alexander Kueng and Tou Thau were hit with the same charge, while Derek Chauvin, who actually kneeled on Floyd's neck for nearly nine minutes has been charged with second-degree murder.

In other nrews, Drake is set to team up with Nike for a brand new OVO version of the Nike Air Force 1. According to HipHopWired, the sneakers could have a 2021 release.
